Please ensure you follow the guidelines as outlined below.\u003c\/em\u003e\n\nThe sample must be collected from the head. The portion of hair to be collected should be freshly washed with plain shampoo (NO medicated shampoo), well rinsed and untreated.\n\nIf your hair has been chemically treated, wait until sufficient new virgin growth has emerged to allow collection. The hair should be free of all gels, oils and hair creams prior to sample collection.\n\nYour sample should be collected in small portions from at least four to five different locations on the scalp. The length of the hair should not exceed 3-4cm. The portion closest to the root should be submitted for testing.
