For a bowl that will be used every day for years, we prefer stainless steel, ceramic or glass.
What About Bamboo Bowls?
Bamboo-fibre bowls can look like a natural alternative to plastic, but it's worth checking what the bowl is actually made from.
Many products marketed as bamboo bowls are made from a combination of bamboo fibres and other materials, often including plastic or melamine.
