Dosage & Directions

How to administer Chaste tree berry dried herbs to your horse/animal

Dried herbs may be added directly to your horses dampened feed in their dry state. Alternatively, they may be made into an infusion (herbal tea) prior to use and the soak liquid and soaked herbs poured over their feed prior to feeding. By making an infusion prior to feeding, releases more nutrients from the herbs and increases the health benefits and this soak water may be used to dampen feeds. But if time and convenience is an issue then adding the dry herb (except root herbs) directly to feed is fine.

Root herbs are best softened by adding boiling water and allow to cool before adding the liquid and softened herb to feed.

Have been using this product for a few years. Decided to take my 4 mares off it to see if there was any change in their behaviour. I have definitely resumed using it as they are so hormonal. Definitely helps alot in the harmony of our paddock.

This has worked wonders for my mare for the suppression of oestrus related behaviours (acting like a stallion, squealing, back and colic-like pain). She had an ultrasound and there was no evidence of cysts etc and was prescribed Regumate but it was VERY expensive. The Chaste Tree Berry has worked as well, if not better, than Regumate as she seems happier in herself. She was dull on the Regumate. I tried resting her from it over winter, but she started cycling again, nickering, and stepping short in the hindlegs indicating back pain again. Once back on the powder, she was back to her happy self :-)

My Palouse with Cushings is so much better since she's on the Chaste Tree Berries. No other medication required.

Saved my old mare. The farrier diagnosed my Palouse with Cushings and told me to best look for supplements other than what the vet prescribes. I did, found Greenpet and straight away ordered Chaste Tree Berries. After 3 days of feeding these in Beets, the pony was significantly better and now, after 4 weeks, is as good as new.

Working well. Our horses are much calmer. Delivery was excellent.

This herb works really well for moody mares. There is a definite change in attitude in horses affected by their breeding cycles.

I bought some Chaste Tree berry from you recently, and am just sooo excited about the results!! My 26 year oil pony foundered last year and was diagnosed with Cushings disease. You were so helpful and prompt with my queries. Stan has been having his 'cuppa tea' for just over 3 weeks now and he is a different horse! From standing about dejectedly almost all day, he's now interested in everything again, and when I let him out of his day pen he gallops through the paddocs to his dinner and 'cuppa'. So an enormous thank you for giving me my cheeky, funny friend back!
