Greenpet Herbal Black Walnut Tonic (formerly Herbal HWM Plus) is a herbal formula that can be easily added to food for dogs or cats. May be given more frequently in high risk areas (5 times per week) or less frequently in low risk (every second day). Our herbal blends are designed to support your animal's health and wellbeing but are not a substitute for professional veterinary care or medication. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. All oral supplements should be consumed voluntarily by your animal, whether mixed with feed, treats, or liquid.

Dosage & Directions

Dosage

Cats / small dogs (5-10kg) - 5 drops

Med dogs (15 - 25kg) - 10 drops

Lge dogs (30 +kg) - 20 drops

Adjust drops depending on animals size. For dogs less than 5kg give less drops.

Directions

Add drops to food 3 - 5 times weekly

May be given to puppies from 12 weeks of age (reduce dosage for very small puppies)

Avoid use during pregnancy and lactation

Always easy to give my fur girls' their herbal drops, one of my girls isn't much a fan of this but she still ok when it's added in her food.

Happy enough with this product only negative thing is that its given for 3 days weekly be nice if it was mthly.

My vet says "I don't approve of this herbal stuff", then went on to push other commercial chemical products on to me.
I've been using this product with my dogs for years, never had an issue with any parasites, let alone heart worms. I thanked her and left her suggestions on the counter. Funnily enough her associate thinks my current dog looks fabulous for her age. She's near 11 yrs old going on 3 :)

It’s hard to say if it keeps heartworm away but Minnie does not mid the taste

Personally I think it tastes terrible, but the dog is ok with it. She's heart worm clear too

I’m very thankful that I can purchase safe products. My Airedale was on this product for the last 3 years of her life as I had tried a spot on one that caused her to collapse. Now my Wire Foxie has been on HWM Plus for 3 years. He has 6 monthly blood tests with no signs of heart worm. I mix it with a little coconut oil and he happily licks it up.
