Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of a type of yeast known as Malassezia pachydermatis, which is a normal organism found on the skin and inside the ears of dogs. However, an imbalance in the amount of yeast can lead to a variety of unpleasant symptoms for your pet, including:

chronic itching
greasy skin
hair loss

darkened thickened skin

sour/yeast/corn chip odour to the skin and ears.

Dosage & Directions

(SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE):

Use for 3 weeks, then stop administration for 1 week. Repeat dosage cycle until desired affect is achieved. Dose twice daily. Give one drop for every 1kg (2lb) of body weight up to 25kg (50lb), add one drop per additional 2kg (4lb). Does not need refrigeration. Contains calibrated dropper: 0.5ml = 10 drops. Mix into food or drop into side of mouth

Is the Yeast Support Safe For My Dog Or Cat, Even If They Are On Pharmaceutical Medications?

Yes! Safety is of the upmost importance to us at Natural Pet Supplements. The herbs chosen are specifically chosen because of safety and effectiveness in animals.
The only time you cannot use Yeast Support on your Dog or Cat is when there is diarrhoea present. The herbs selected in the Yeast Support do not interact with any pharmaceutical drugs, but caution is advised if using immune supressant medications or if animal is diabetic.
Do not exceed recommended dosage for weight, unless advised. For best practice all herbal formulas should be discontinued 2 weeks prior to surgery.

How long until I see results with the Yeast Support? That depends, There are many factors that influence how quickly you will see results. Such as severity of condition, immune status, diet, stress levels, age, breed etc.

The Yeast Support is a pungent formula and you need to use it for 3 weeks, then break for a week (this will help the body not get overloaded with trying to eliminate the yeast die off). If it is not resolved by the end of the four week cycle, start the cycle again and continue until results are seen.
With conditions affecting the skin it could take up to 3 months to see visible results (at the most) as the skin is the slowest healing organ in the body. It is very common especially with infections involving the ears and skin, for it to take a couple of months to fully heal.

As herbal medicine is aimed at fixing the root cause of the illness instead of just negating symptoms, it is not instant. Patience is key.

What If My Dog Or Cat Doesn't Like The Taste? Our herbal formulas are flavoured with a smoky bacon taste, and 98% of herbs are in a glycerine base, but the pungency of some herbs may still be present.

Mixed into food is the easiest way for most pets, if not you can squeeze into the side of their mouth or mix into a treat like peanut butter, ricotta cheese etc.

Persistence is the key, you can always try to work up to the recommended dosage over a week or so.

Yes I do like the Greenpet products. I tried yeast support a year ago but stopped. He was on the third round and developed stomach issues with diarrhea. I think it was due to combining it with Gut Restore as I only gave that to him on the third round. I had both products tested with my kinesiologist and although it was positive there was a no to using them together. After reading the reviews and instructions I’m giving yeast support another go. He’s now on the second round. I squirt it immediately into the side of his mouth. This time I’ve put clear tape around the syringe so that the markings don’t wear off. I don’t feel able to rate this product anymore than a 3 as so far there hasn’t been a change. I hope to write another review when I see improvements.

Works amazingly. Jade loves it in her sardines. Fantastic product. She is so prone to yeast because of our yard unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it, so to protect her from the inside out , in conjunction with a herbal yeast repellent shampoo is our only option.
