Description
MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a naturally occurring organic sulphur compound that provides a bioavailable source of sulphur, an essential mineral involved in many normal structural and metabolic processes in the body. Sulphur plays an important role in connective tissues such as cartilage, tendons, ligaments and skin, and is also involved in the formation of amino acids and other biological compounds important for overall health in animals.
MSM is commonly supplemented in animals to help support normal joint function, mobility, connective tissue integrity and general wellbeing. Safe for use in dogs, cats, horses, livestock and birds.

While generally skeptical of supplements, I’ve been absolutely raving about everything MSM does for my cat. I thought I might have to put him on the monthly arthritis injection, but as a pensioner it was going to be an struggle to afford it. I thought that even if MSM could only get me six months of holding off on that, that would be a big help. Well, let me tell you, I was pretty sure greenpet had shipped me cat cocaine, not MSM! The effect was startlingly quick, and he’s moving far more freely and happily now. He runs and plays, and overall it’s just obvious he’s more comfortable. While his hips and hind legs are a little stiff still, there’s less swelling in his joints and he’s no longer so “sensitive” to the cold. It’s also improved his sensitive and itchy skin. I’ve started taking the human MSM for my own arthritis! Greenpet helped me when I got my own address wrong, so great customer service; I’d recommend and I will be buying again (and probably buying other supplements to use in combination with the MSM).
