White Willowbark is an excellent remedy for arthritic and rheumatic pain.  Thus affecting joints and back. May help to relieve inflammation and swelling. Famous for being the original source of salicylic acid (the precursor to aspirin).   However unlike aspirin, it does not thin the blood. White Willowbark has been used for thousands of years to relieve joint pain and to manage fevers.

Not suitable for cats

How to administer White Willowbark dried herbs to your horse/animal

Dried herbs may be added directly to your horses dampened feed in their dry state. Alternatively, they may be made into an infusion (herbal tea) prior to use and the soak liquid and soaked herbs poured over their feed prior to feeding. By making an infusion prior to feeding, releases more nutrients from the herbs and increases the health benefits and this soak water may be used to dampen feeds. But if time and convenience is an issue then adding the dry herb (except root herbs) directly to feed is fine.

Root herbs are best softened by adding boiling water and allow to cool before adding the liquid and softened herb to feed.

    My 30 yr old gelding although friends to arthritis, still manages to hoon around the paddock in old bloke style thanks to white willow bark added to his morning feed…it has made a noticeable difference to his mobility, for sure.
